To my helpers in mission,
Mission Report April 8, 2025. Athis-Mons, FRANCE
The Jewish Passover is the evening of Saturday April 12. As the children of Israel were preparing to leave Egypt Jehovah spoke to Moses & Aaron about the blood of the Passover Lamb: “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague will not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:13. Jesus Christ is the Passover Lamb sacrificed for us. 1 Corinthians 5:7 The Jewish Passover is followed by the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Leviticus 23:4-8 Scofield: “This feast speaks of communion with Christ, the unleavened wave-loaf, in the full blessing of His redemption, and of a holy life. The divine order here is beautiful: first the redemption, then a holy walk.” 1 Cor 5:6-8
- My Ministry
a. Tract distribution. End of year & beginning of year Bible calendars. I also supply calendars to others for distribution. I gave to Liva Rajohnson, The Oasis church in Olivet, FR and its sister church in Tours, FR and my church in Longjumeau, FR.
1) As I walk, I offer tracts. Sometimes people stop to talk. At bus stops people take.
2) In a store, in my bank, In front of a train station. The street of my bank runs into a train station: In Juvisy sur Orge. I have lived in my one room apartment for 22 years. For the third time Eduard Benedek from Romania came by car to help me. It is a 28-hour drive from Bucharest, RO to Paris, FR. He came this 3rd time to get my tracts in German, Hungarian & Turkish. He will give them to those who will distribute them. I no longer do the trips by car to Eastern Europe. I still have literature in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic and Hebrew that needs to be distributed.
3) Free libraries: leave a book-take a book. Near me there are 4. I recently left a calendar with a verse for a day and two calendars one for age 3-7 the other 8-12. Shortly after I offered to a mother with 2 sons. They had just taken from the free library! By a free library nearby the cemetery of my town, I offered a tract, and the man was a Jew. Some years ago, I had a similar encounter with a Jew at the same place. I often pass the entrance to the cemetery to offer those going in or coming out. Recently two men were near a Free Library. They were willing to talk. One asked prayer for his sister’s young son who had a blood disease. Roman is the name of the sick child. Recently at the same free box I met a man from Moldova-MD who did not know French of English. In MD there are 2 main languages: Romanian & Russian. I had a Romain gospel of Luke.
4) There are several schools near my apartment. The young children are often with their mothers and most of them are Muslims, and they take tracts.
b. The poster boards for Bible messages. I want to return to this ministry.
c. In my town Athis-Mons there are two sport areas and there I meet people, and I have through the years had good conversations, mostly with Muslims.
- My local church:
a. They help me when I need their help. The present pastor Leon Mondesir graduated from a French Independent Baptist Bible school. We recently baptized 6. One of them Rolando has taken two books from me. The first he read. Another just baptized took a book from me.
- Prayer requests:
a. Driving. I do not drive at night. – eyesight.
b. Resident visa renewal for France. Due to my own negligence, I missed the first 3 tries. The visa has been given but presently it is temporary for 6 months. When the permanent card which is good for 10 years is ready, I will be notified. The 6 months ends August 18, 2025.
c. I am 83. What is my future? Pastor Andrew & Sephora Livingston ministering in France invited me to be with them when I can no longer care for myself.
D. Health: enlarged aorta that must be checked each year, swollen prostate since 1990, I am spitting up blood for 6 months, which is being checked, dental care. The doctor who dealt with my blood is a Muslim. He asked for a clear, true presentation of the messageof the Christian faith. I gave it to him. He accepted literature. He is no longer in the hospital. Last year my ears were blocked by ear wax. I am presently again dealing with this blockage.

Bible teaching 2 groups of widows in Kenya continues. On March 29 the leader Br Fred had the annual meeting of the 3 groups of widows, and the church founded after we started weekly meetings with the widows. The third group of widows is from the newly founded church. I gave 2 messages, one for believers and one for salvation. But the second message only started, and we were cut off.
Blessed meditations as the Jewish Passover and Unleavened Bread, Palm Sunday and Resurrection Sunday are before us.
Your prayers are appreciated,
Michael David Bentley
